My sincerest apologies for taking so long to upload these pictures. Clare had a WONDERFUL birthday and is so blessed with such loving family and friends.
*********************************************************************************
Clare requested tacos for dinner so after dinner (an early dinner because daddy had to go to work), she opened all of her cards and presents too:
Madeline made Clare a Winnie the Pooh card:
Thank you Aunt Amber and Uncle Kyle for the Winnie the Pooh blanket! It is her new bedspread that she sleeps with every night and she just loves it. (The size was perfect!)
Thank you grandma for the hopscotch, hat and binoculars!!! They have been playing "Dora" non-stop with the binoculars and the hopscotch has been a great new addition to their playtime. The rain hat is a favorite of both Clare and mom!
And stickers are always a favorite too!!
I think Madeline was starting to realize it wasn't her birthday:
Thank you Yia-Yia and Poppy for the camera and kitchen toys! Mom still has not quite figured out the camera but that has not stopped the kids from taking pictures. The kitchen items have already been used multiple times (usually to make cake, ice cream, and tacos.)
Madeline was very happy to realize that she got a little something too. George has not figured out he has a gift yet - he just wanted the cake. The presents were taking too long and that cake looked too good.
Then he realized it was Superman once mom opened it for him:
Some play time while mom and dad clean up and get ready for the cake:
Elizabeth finally woke up from her nap just in time for her gift:
CAKE TIME!!!!
Later on that week, Clare had a special birthday outing with momma. We met up with Clare's dear friend, who also has a birthday coming up. They both are turning 3. We met them at the mall and they got to make a Build-A-Bear. Clare chose a pink bear. She put a strawberry scent in her, picked out all her clothing (purple shirt, pink skirt, ballet shoes, pink glasses, and a pink headband.) Then she printed out her bear's birth certificate and she named her Anna Beth!!! Haha... for those that do not know, my doll as a little girl was Amy Beth! :-D
Then we stopped by the Rainforest Cafe on the way out to look at the fish! It was a great day!
