Rainbow Cookies
You can purchase your own sugar cookie dough or make a batch yourself. Because I use unbleached whole wheat flour, my colors have a browner/duller color to them.
Separate the dough into 4 equal amounts and mix food coloring of your choice to create the colors you want.
Take a small amount of each color and push together into a ball - resembling a beach ball.
Roll the ball of dough into a long snake and twist:
Start at one end and roll the dough - resembling a lollipop.
You can use a baking sheet, or I prefer using a large muffin tin for my cookies!
Bake according to direction on your recipe and VOILA! Rainbow cookies!
